AT&T Advertising and Publishing is looking for qualified candidates to fill Artist openings in our Little Rock sales office.  The offices is located at 1111 W Capitol Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.

Successful candidates for this position must posses professional creative advertising art knowledge and skills and be effective as a graphic designer and illustrator.  Must be able to turn thoughts into finished art in a variety of techniques and mediums for full color reproduction.  The final product may vary in size from miniature to larger than life and may be mechanical or process color.

 

Duties generally include, but are not limited to the following:

 

1)  Creates and produces displays and sales visuals, lettering and illustrations.

  2)  Prepares multi‑color original art via mechanical or process color.

  3)  May be required to create illustrations and design themes based on printed articles or headlines.

  4)  Reviews art work for acceptability as to quality, effectiveness and accuracy.

  5)  May be required to operate specialized reproduction machines or other photographic equipment.

  6)  Constantly processes work to meet deadlines.

  7)  Works without extensive direct supervision.

  8)  Records information in a manner which others can interpret.

  9)  Works at desk for long periods of time.

  10)  Prepares sales aids, training aids, as required.

  11)  May be required to perform other related duties.

12)  May require customer contact.

 

Requirements for the position are two (2) years of commercial art experience or a four (4) year art degree from an accredited college.  Candidates will also be required to pass a written exam and job simulation exercise to be considered for the position.

 

Starting Salary ranges from $523.50/week to $696.50/week depending on experience.  You will receive a raise every six months until you reach top pay of $928.50/week.
