Advertising Sales Representative-Outdoors Publications
The Advertising Sale Representative will plan and execute advertising programs, which span all types of media, and identify advertising objectives and target markets for all Outdoor imprints.
Responsibilities include:
Developing the sales territory through prospecting for new account opportunities.
Assisting current advertising clients in scheduling/layout/marketing.
Assisting advertising clients in maintaining an acceptable payment status/schedule.
Working occasional industry trade shows throughout the country.
Effectively communicating via telephone, in person, and in written correspondence
Assisting in training new salespeople and cover accounts while other salespeople are absent.
Qualified candidates will possess:
Previous sales experience with proven experience cold calling, presenting to prospective clients, and maintaining client relationships.
Prior sale experience within the publication industry.
Excellent communication skills via phone and in person with focus on strong sales skills.
Proven organizational skills with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and focus on details.
Demonstrated experience working efficiently within a team environment.
Familiarity and interest in the Outdoor field a plus.
