Advertising Rate Clerk in Advertising Agency

ACG is growing and currently has an immediate full-time opening for a Data Clerk, whose responsibilities include collecting and maintaining advertising rate information The position has growth potential and offers an opportunity to learn our unique business from the ground up.

Principal responsibilities for this position include:
Entering vendor information into the Agency’s proprietary database or onto MS Excel spreadsheets. Telephoning vendors for needed information missing from rate cards/media kits. Responsible for accuracy of data entry. Relieve switchboard operator during certain periods of the day. Assist in the collection of information for potential new business presentations. and responsible for assisting in the set-up of new client accounts.
Skills/Requirements:
Strong attention to detail as this position is very detail-oriented. Ability to match up vendor information to company database to determine if information needs to be updated. Ability to proofread own or other Data Clerks’ work. Ability to work independently with little direct supervision. Good MS Excel skills, including the ability to set up spreadsheets. High school diploma required; some college preferred.
