Accounts Payable Coordinator

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator who will review all Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense requests against the company’s policies and procedures.The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing all discrepancies in a timely and appropriate manner, as well as ensuring that all invoices and travel and expense requests are processed and paid on time.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Receive and log invoices upon receipt.Match invoices to purchase requisitions and purchase orders as applicable.Ensure that all invoices are approved appropriately according to approval matrix for SOX.Code all invoices accurately.Maintain A/P and vendor set-up files.Review all expense reports.Prepare accrual schedules and assist with journal entries.Prepare Accounts Payable reconciliation on a monthly basis.Handle vendor and department inquiries on payments.Perform any other related duties as assigned.

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

 Associates degree in accounting or business management required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of two (2) years experience in accounts payable.  Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.Strong organizational skills and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.  Excellent follow through and ability to meet tight deadlines.  Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
