Account Supervisor needed at Global Advertising Agency
TBWA has two openings in our Nashville Office:
Management Supervisor - Nissan - 7+ years experience
Account Supervisor - Infiniti - 5+ years experience
Basic Skills Required
• Experience in agency or allied communications industry experience that provides an understanding of advertising, marketing, media, creative, production, public relations, research, agency finance, etc.
• Financial management
• Personnel management – instruction/motivation
• Excellent sales and presentation skills
• Full understanding of the principles of marketing communications planning
• College education and/or appropriate advertising/marketing education or experience
Role
Broadly, the Management Supervisor is responsible for managing the entire account, ensuring positive growth, profitability, and long-term relationship with the client. They should develop a sense of “teamness” among people who work on the account. The MS is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with clients at all levels and across all departments at the agency. They must know the client’s business so well that the client perceives them as an essential contributor in any business decision.
This specific MS role is unique in that the Nashville team has daily face-to-face interaction with the Nissan marketing clients. The ideal candidate will thrive on client contact: delivering presentations, taking part in meetings and selling creative work. The person in this position must be flexible and adaptable whether facilitating a conference call with the larger team in L.A., or presenting a P.O.V. solo.
Responsibilities
• Provide structured and unstructured training opportunities for members of the account group to learn the next level up and what they need to achieve to be promoted.
• Effectively manage the agency’s resources and relationships with other departments in the agency.
• Supervising the development and administration of the clients’ budgets, and ensuring that the accounts function within those budgets.
• Adhere to and support agency and departmental policies and systems.
