Account Executive/ Senior Account Executive

G2 direct & digital, a recognized leader in the direct marketing and interactive communications industry, is searching for a seasoned Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our team!

This Account Executive/ Senior Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day execution of projects on a pharmaceutical account. The AE/ SAE coordinates and manages agency resources for their projects and acts as the primary day-to-day interface between low to mid-level client contacts and the various agency departments that are involved in project development.

This position is instrumental in ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget and that all agency work meets client/agency objectives. The person in this role will also be responsible for maintaining and managing timelines with the Project Manager, RC submissions/meetings, FDA filings and DDMAC, Billing and job number tracking. The Account Executive/ Senior Account  will also partner with agency departments to manage creative development, be responsible for first round of comments on all projects they manage and should be able to communicate and coordinate appropriately.

The ideal candidate:

- BA degree or equivalent work experience required
- 2-3 years of experience within an agency account management environment
- Direct mail experience is a MUST 
- Ability to manage complex timelines, anticipate upcoming issues, and proactively working with senior account managers to resolve them
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to manage up and communicate efficiently
- Computer proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Good problem solving skills (analytical/strategic thinker)
- Strong writing and presenting abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a drive to succeed.
