Organizational Information

The Subway Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust (SFAFT) is responsible for advertising and marketing of the SUBWAY ® brand globally. The largest restaurant chain in the world, SUBWAY ® operates over 29,500 locations in 87 countries.  While many franchised businesses use pooled marketing funds to promote their brands, in Subway’s case, SFAFT is a completely separate legal entity from the franchisor of Subway, Doctor’s Associates Inc. The trust is governed by an elected Board of franchisees.  SFAFT is based in Milford, CT.

Our vision is to make SFAFT the preeminent marketing organization in the QSR industry, and also for it to be considered to be one of the best marketing organizations of any kind in the world. This will be judged by our track record of delivering profitable sales growth for franchisees, while also delivering excellent levels of franchisee satisfaction with our service.

 Job Responsibilities

 

Key responsibilities for an Associate Brand Manager will include: Working with the Brand Manager to take ownership and drive business results on key areas of the business Develop marketing plans, translate key consumer insights into actionable programs to drive business covering product, advertising, media, promotion, PR, pricing and any other activities, working with internal experts and external agencies Develop effective communication – advertising strategy, creative brief development, copy evaluation, ad production Manage the execution of integrated marketing programs, developing and monitoring project plans

 

Qualifications

  3-5 years experience in either Brand Management or in an Agency Track record of driving strong business results Experience with TV creative and marketing promotions development Enjoys working in a very fast-paced environment Outstanding project management skills A positive “can do” attitude and flexible working style BA/BS or MBA (not required) in Business, Marketing or other related field
