Reviews performance of individual sales representatives and takes corrective action as necessary. Accountable for the attainment of advertising revenues in the assigned area. Participates in sales campaign planning, provides assistance in answering customer complaints, and may handle work directly with customers. Ensures that the organization employees highly skilled sales personnel by : participating in hiring decisions: developing, firing, mentoring, counseling, and supporting sales employees. Provides career planning, matches employees to roles, administers performance reviews, and discipline. Serves as the sales expert in teaching and gateway for new tools and techniques. Disseminates and shares knowledge widely. Assesses demand for sales personnel, present and future by working with the Sales Manager - Support and Regional Sales Manager. Assists in developing the supply of sales personnel. Plans and provides training and other capability enhancers; formulates hiring requirements. Matches supply and demand acting as a broker balancing short-term process demands and long-term employee development needs. Intervenes to resolve performance problems. Facilitates among teammates and employees. Designs resolution strategies. Reports to Regional Sales Manager
