POSITION SUMMARY:
The Creative Strategy Manager will work with a cross-functional team of highly creative professionals to develop successful direct marketing campaigns for our clients. This position will manage direct marketing projects (e.g., direct mail, point of sale, interactive/online) to deliver best in class creative solutions that excite clients and drive results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with Sr. Creative Strategy Director in creative strategy development Develop client presentations and present creative artwork to client when assigned Prepare creative briefs and provide direction to creative team Manage day-to-day planning and execution of artwork from concepts through rounds Manage projects to ensure they are delivered error-free, on time and on budget Develop creative estimates and schedules Coordinate between Account Team, Creative and Production
QUALIFICATIONS:BA/BS Marketing or Communications degree 6+ years of direct marketing experience at an agency or in-house direct marketing department Ideal candidate will have both B2B and B2C experience across a range of different industries Excellent written and oral communication skills, including client presentations In-depth understanding of direct marketing principles along with direct marketing production techniquesExcellent conceptual and visual skills with the ability to give direction to creative teams Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and strict deadlines Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision Outstanding organizational and project/personnel management skills Highly motivated, with a can-do attitude
