Discover the leading team dedicated to helping more Americans achieve their dreams. Â·  As ranked for 2006 by Inside Mortgage Finance (Feb. 2, 2007)© 2007. VP, Forecasting   Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Managing all aspects of the Forecasting Department·  Preparing Forecasts of the Bank's financial position and estimated earnings·  Maintaining Analytical Tools and Models used in Forecast Reporting·  Comparing the Bank's actual results to those forecasted·  Preparing timely reports of Operating trends·  Conducting Financial Planning and Analysis to provide Management with definitive financial data and recommendations for establishing and realize Profit objectives and/or developing Business Strategies·  Preparing Special Financial Reports for Management and for Regulatory Agencies·  Researching and evaluating Financial alternatives and present findings to Management·  Participating, as needed, in Special Projects—including establishment of Financial Targets, Budget/Economic Evaluation, Quality Control, Modeling Enhancements, etc.·  Training, developing and supervising a staff of Financial Analysts·  Refining tracked Metric types·  Maintaining a Database of updated Targets and other Assessment criteria   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related subject·  7+ years of related experience·  2+ years experience managing a professional, Senior-level staff—preferably within a Corporate setting·  Understanding of the Mortgage-Banking Business process·  Proven Leadership abilities·  Ability to conduct complex Research Projects and formulate summaries for approval·  Advanced computer-skills—including knowledge and proficiency with various Spreadsheet and Database software/applications·  Excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills   The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:·  MBA·  Knowledge of Finance, Financial Statements and General Accounting Standards   Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
