Position Description:
Directs and has responsibility for the business unit’s accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of its financial reports. Manages monthly financial close, forecast, strategic and operating plans, SAS70 review, contracts, and has extensive Sales/Pricing involvement.1. Manages all aspects of the unit’s accounting operations, including financial plans, budgeting, and accounting practices and procedures. This includes supervision of monthly closing and generation of all monthly reporting deliverables. 2. Sees that corporate and division accounting policies and procedures are followed, and ensures that records are maintained in accordance with GAAP.3. Analyzes unit’s financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and budget/forecast compliance. Interprets operating results and makes specific recommendations that will result in cost reduction and/or profitability improvement. Issues monthly reports to CFO and other division executives.4. Acts as primary contact for internal and external auditors. Involvement in acquisitions when necessary.5. Insures adequate internal controls exist6. Will complete special financial reports or ad hoc analysis as requested by CFO and/or Division Presidents7. Acts as business partner to President and functional members of the ICS business

Qualifications:
College degree in business, accounting or finance. CPA required, MBA preferred.10+ years of accounting experience in both public accounting and private industry.Excellent communication and computer skills.
