UTILITY FINANCIAL ANALYST II

The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) is recruiting for an experienced financial analyst to be part of its Finance Section. The successful candidate will review proposals and prepare recommendations regarding rates on tariff filings involving new services, and evaluate the basis of proposed rates for consistency with regulatory rate-making principles and prior Commission precedent.

The RCA regulates public utilities and pipeline carriers within the state by certifying qualified providers of public utility and pipeline services, and ensuring that they provide safe and adequate services and facilities at just and reasonable rates, terms, and conditions.
