User Interface Designer

We are currently seeking a User Interface (UI) Designer in our Montvale office. Responsibilities: - Create visual design and information design templates for multiple levels of site hierarchy; including storyboards, screen shots and documentation for the user interface - Lead task flow analysis and UI walk-throughs with business and technical team members new design, enhance existing UI to a Web 2.0 based look and feel - Work with the development teams to refine UI design as they are implemented and with a cross-functional team to assess product requirements - Translate requirements into concepts and elegant user design, interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and help optimize the user experience - Keep abreast of current design tools, techniques and methodologies - Challenge traditional design, explore new ways to approach design projects and improve and streamline the user experience Qualifications: - Five years of experience designing user interfaces for Web and/or collaborative applications with strong visual design and graphical/illustration skills - Proficient in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Illustrator and experience with prototyping skills on interactive visualization technologies such as DHTML, CSS, AJAX, etc. - Experience in defining and documenting end-to-end user experience, including user workflows, application layout, design of specific UI screens and components - Work experience in animate designs using Flash or ImageReady with the ability to interpret and code XHTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, and Flash ActionScript - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience - Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated experience working in a team culture - Able to work independently and achieve quality results on time with minimal support KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
