Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: Synerfac Technical Staffing Website: www.synerfac.com Unapplied Cash / AR Representative / Collections ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily cash entry from Bank Accurately apply all payments to correct customer account and process level Provide divisions with back-up support of checks/deductions/credit memos Contact customers for checks that are not identified properly Must be able to interact courteously and tactfully with managers, co- workers, customers and/or vendors to the point that productivity and morale are positively affected. Candidates should have strong collections experience, preferably in a 3rd party collections environment. Must have superior phone skills and strong ability to build rapport with all clients. Must be able to distinguish collection style based on delinquency levels and be persistent until account is resolved.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Computer experience – Microsoft Office, Accounting software Must be able to interact on the telephoneFISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: Manage application of all AR cashEXTENT OF PUBLIC CONTACT: Telephone and email contact with payors Some collections calls will be necessary, must maintain professional demeanor in high pressure situationsPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift approximately 10 lbs.
