USA Jobs: Training Specialist

Under general supervision, assess needs for training, develops and conducts soft skill and technical instructor-led training courses for organization employees as they relate to Computershare's NY and NJ offices. The training delivered is intended to improve employees' knowledge and abilities and contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives. Provides training in individual, small group, webinar and classroom settings. Job requires travel to multiple locations, mostly in NY and NJ. 

.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

At least three years prior training experience or the equivalent business experience in financial services with at least one year of training experience, and

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point)
Proficient in system applications training to include development and presentation
At least two years prior Equity services experience. General Employee Stock Plans experience a plus.
Conduct analysis of training and organizational needs working collaboratively to implement solutions
Consult with subject matter experts to research, document, and validate training content
Design and facilitate innovative, creative, cost-effective training programs to maximize employee performance
Select appropriate training aids and prepare lesson plans relevant to training subject and materials
Analyze employee feedback and performance data to measure, identify and eliminate performance gaps
Ensure that all training programs are delivered in accordance with corporate training policies and procedures
EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fluent with adult learning strategies and instructional design theories including accelerated learning.


CERTIFICATIONS

American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) certification.
