Our Edmonton office has an immediate opening for a U.S Tax Manager to join our team. We can offer you new opportunities and challenges, along with continuing education to further enhance your career. The ideal candidates will assist in managing teams of professionals to deliver quality service to our clients



Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Manager in our Cross Border Tax Group, you will:

-Advise Canadian based companies on Canada/US cross border tax issues;

-Supervise and review the preparation of US federal and state income tax returns and mentor junior U.S. Tax staff; and

-Identify and implement new U.S. Tax consulting engagements

Competencies Required:

4 to 8 years of US Corporate Tax experience or other relevant tax experience;

CA, CPA, CGA or other accounting designation;

Completion of the Masters of U.S. Tax is an asset

Sound US or other tax expertise;

Ability to manage multiple assignments;

Superior problem solving skills, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;

Strong analytical capability, sound business sense and creative mind that have earned you a reputation of providing excellence in client service;

Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills;

Powerful motivator and effective coach to those who work with you;

and

Skilled at managing existing clients and seeks opportunities to take on business development activities
