US Head of Operations: Investment Bank

Lead the Operations team covering Cash and Derivatives products within a leading investment firm.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Manage a mid-sized team across a wide range of teams including, but not limited to, Confirmations,  Collateral Management, Client Reporting, and Trade Capture

· Key Liaison with all relevant third party vendors and industry regulating bodies.

· Manage the on-going system implementation and enhancements as they relate to Operations.

· Provide business expertise on functional and process requirements

· Partner with Portfolio managers to proactively manage the associated risks in Confirmation, Cash Management, and Pricing

· Represent the group while working with the wider operations team and technology areas

 

Requirements:

 

· 10+ years proven operational leadership experience in a derivatives role in investment banking, a hedge fund, or investment manager.

· Thorough understanding of derivatives and the end-to-end transaction lifecycle.

· Track record of successful delivery and experience building strong partnerships with internal and external groups.

· Prior experience within derivative confirmations across a range of asset classes preferable.

· Knowledge legal and regulatory issues relating to derivatives.
