About the Opportunity
We are seeking a talented individual to fill the role of financial analyst and personal accountant to the CEO/Chairman of the company. This position will be responsible for monthly financial reporting and strategic financial analysis as well as other special projects. The financial reporting consists of five small entities and the personal financial reporting for the chairman. The position requires strong analytical skills in order to deal with complex financial data and strategic reporting. Special projects of a financial nature which require interaction with clients and company personnel at the highest level are ongoing. Regular interaction with the Chairman is integral to this position. Supervise one staff position.
Qualifications Experience with multifamily real estate.Experience with high net worth individuals.Superior communication skills written and oral. Expert database skills, spreadsheet, and word-processing in order to prepare various complex statistical and written summary reports for different levels of management. Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Timberline and PowerPoint. Superior organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized. Manages time effectively. Uses work plans to prioritize competing and interdependent tasks to meet deadlines. Makes effective decisions with limited time and information. Determines decision-making criteria based on priorities. Capable of producing detailed, comprehensive documentation. Expert problem-solver. Sorts through complex issues and conducts comparative analysis resulting in multiple solutions. Skillfully synthesizes large quantities of complex information under pressure. Distills it to the most critical issues and draws accurate conclusions, taking into account a high degree of certainty. Uses multiple resources, quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to capture and interpret information. Experience broadening communication channels and developing processes to facilitate the exchange of information among internal and external groups. Supervision of the preparation of financial reporting/bookkeeping for personal financial data and 5 other entities (CPA Preferred) with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
