As the Treasurer, and part of the senior leadership team headquartered in Waltham, MA, you will ensure the maintenance of corporate financial stability by developing and managing strategy, operation and policies relating to treasury activities while directing development and revision of financial policies for capital structure, cash management,  risk / insurance management.   Your 10 years of progressive work experience in a variety of commercial/investment banking and corporate treasury roles creates the foundation to have a substantial impact on the growth and success of our North American operations.

The Treasurer position is a career opportunity to support executive management and shareholders through the analysis and execution of project financing and acquisition opportunities while combining your vision and leadership for the foundation of treasury and risk management activities.

 

This critical leader is responsible for:

 

·  Treasury and risk management operations across North America for Holcim (US) Inc and St Lawrence Cement including activities in treasury management and reporting, maintenance of banking relationships, management of working capital needs, capital market activity, and budgeting requirements.

·  Manage the property and liability risk management programs as well as ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies.

·  Lead the coordination of the investment community and commercial / investment bank relationships through regular meetings, presentations, conferences, and maintenance of credit rating

·  Ensure liquidity, debt reduction, debt management, investment, and financial risk management strategies support the achievement of organization’s goals.

·  Manage the company’s cash position as well as daily liquidity management particularly related to banking operations and cash flow forecasting model.

 

The leader we are looking for is an innovative professional who is passionate about treasury and risk management and will communicate with impact, including formal/informal written and verbal communication and in a manner that is consistent with the Holcim values.  A strategic thinker that effectively works with and influences diverse audiences at various management levels and champions new ideas/initiatives with drive for optimum efficiency, innovation and control (operational automation and reengineering) is desired.  Bring your strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills to our team to inspire commitment and energy and bring out everyone’s best contribution to meet organizational goals.  Additionally, you come to us having a Bachelors degree (MBA and/or CPA strongly desired) and successfully managed M&A activities.
