Powerhouse hedge fund is seeking a focused Administrative Assistant to support a professional accounting team in their New York City office. Career Group Inc., leading NYC recruiting firm, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to learn the ins and outs of this exciting firm and make positive contributions to their daily success! Responsibilities include overseeing a complex office calendar, coordinating meeting schedules and conference calls, reviewing and processing a high volume of correspondence, reviewing and processing invoices, and liaising with various internal and external contacts. Prior experience in an accounting/finance capacity is ideal to also become involved with some bookkeeping and accounts payable duties.

 

Ideal candidates should be driven professionals with 2-3+ years of administrative/office experience and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. 4 year college degree/Associate’s degree is required.
