Technical Senior Auditor

Job Description

The Internal Audit Department is seeking a qualified candidate to assume responsibility as a Senior Auditor.

The selected individual will be responsible for assisting in the examination and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's system of internal controls in financial, operational, and compliance activities.

Other responsibilities of this position will include:

·  Performing the planning, execution and documentation of all types of internal audits of company activities.

·  Participating as a controls consultant in company strategic initiatives or projects.

·  Reviewing and evaluating the internal control systems and policies and procedures and assisting in implementing corrective actions.

·  Assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

·  Building and maintaining effective working relationships with management and throughout the company. 

Job Requirements

This position requires an individual to be detail oriented, highly organized and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 

 The minimum qualifications to be considered for this highly visible position within a successful, growth-oriented environment include:

·  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or other business related major

·  CPA and/or CIA certification or actively pursuing certification

·  Minimum of three years of corporate audit and/or public accounting experience

  ·  Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word with knowledge of Access, flowcharting and auditing software
