We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager/Scripter, Quality Assurance to join us in our Montvale office. Responsibilities: - Design and execute automated tests using the established automated testing tools, including basic programming in Visual Basic or some scripting language - Prepare master-level test plans - Design and document detailed functional, system, integration, and regression testing plans - Design and execute manual tests using established methodologies - Work with the development team to capture and re-use automated unit test cases, test stubs and drivers, and other development test objects - Help to ensure proper version control and configuration management of test objects developed and test environments used - Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in verbal and written formats - Lead effectively in estimation, planning, and quality risk analysis - Provide guidance in the creation of standard test environments and test beds - Generate both manual and automated testing test scenarios and test cases - Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) metrics for assessing the quality of delivered application software - Provide technical guidance to QA Associates - Apply advanced and comprehensive technical expertise of areas within the QA test automation area - Assume responsibility for following through on commitments, make timely decisions, and commit to appropriate courses of action - Provide input, leadership, and direction into the formulation of long and short-term goals impacting the QA and overall application development processes - Demonstrate mastery level of skills/technical competence appropriate to the Quality Assurance role - Understand and link QA needs with KPMG's capabilities, knowledge and experience - Recognize and apply business trends in the profession and marketplace - Develop and execute automated test suites using Mercury's (Hewlett Packer) set of tools and other custom tools - Merge test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses and perform other related duties Qualifications: - Eight years of experience in a systems quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience - Six years of experience in test automation, with two years of that experience preferably in Mercury's Suite of automated testing products - QTP and Quality Center - Demonstrated experience in business modeling, process engineering, change management and test case generation techniques - Experience with QA methodologies and testing strategies/techniques with demonstrated experience on black box, integration, and regression testing - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college/university - Demonstrated experience in analytical ability, judgment, consultative, and communication skills - Must have QTP scripting experience - Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
