Tax Manager Summary
Two of our clients, one a full service CPA firm located in downtown Boston and the other a REIT company, are currently seeking to hire for several Tax Professional positions. At least 2 of these open positions are at the management level.

Tax Manager FunctionsPrepare both corporate and individual tax returns. Corporate Tax returns will include S Corp and C CorporateIndividual tax returns are for primarily high net worth individuals. Complete corporate/individual income tax planning. File federal, state and local tax returns of the operating partnership and other entities. Deliver the K-1s to the partners. Quarterly estimated payments and partnership withholdings. Complete quarterly and annual REIT tests as it relates to the operating partnership and other reports required to partners. Respond to federal and state tax notices and audits. Assist in REIT due diligence and other Sarbanes-Oxley tax cycle controls. Prepare FASB 109 tax provisions if needed. Assist with special projects.

Compensation for this position will be commensurate with experience. Maximum compensation will be $140,000.
 



Essential Tax Manager Skills & Characteristics Proficient in Excel Public accounting experience 2 years experience minimum required Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA highly preferred Partnership or corporate tax experience
