Tax Generalist- Senior Associate

· Preparation and review of tax returns for a wide range and size of clients, including “S” corporations, partnerships, trusts, private foundations and high-wealth individuals.

· Tax research and preparation of client memorandum.

· Implementation of tax planning. 

· Preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments.

· Analysis of financial information such as balance sheets, fixed asset ledger, and income statements as part of the tax preparation process.

· Preparation of tax return work papers and supporting schedules in a manner consistent with professional standards.

· Identification of accounting, business and tax opportunities and development of solutions.

· Keeping current on the latest tax developments, including regulations, case law and policies.

  Development of quality business relationships.

Job Requirements:


Ability to clearly communicate ideas both verbally and in writing

 2+ to 6 years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax department

Exposure to federal, state and multi-state income taxation compliance.  Audit or consulting experience a plus.

Demonstrated progress toward obtaining CPA certification

 An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, and/or an undergraduate or graduate degree with sufficient course work to qualify for certification upon passing the examination.

Possession of solid PC skills, including Microsoft Windows, Office applications and tax preparation software.
