You will report to the Tax Director and focus on tax planning and transactional work for a world scale chemical and fibers manufacturer. Responsibilities: • Optimize M&A transactions from a tax perspective • Work with businesses and other tax professionals to identify and assess the economic and financial implications of transactions from a tax perspective • Partner with business leaders to ensure the most tax efficient means of accomplishing the desired results Requirements: • JD with 3+ years of tax experience or in a related area • Broad background in corporate tax, including experience in both domestic and international tax planning • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal skills • Computer skills include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Experience & Skills Preferred: • Previous Big 4. law firm or larger corporation experience • Experience with M&A transactions • General knowledge of accounting. • LLM • Partnership experience a plus.
