On a quarterly basis, analyze the taxes payable account (federal and state) for accuracy and reasonableness. Assist in the coordination and review of the tax accounting for tax contingencies, audit settlements, and return-to-provision calculationsAssist in preparation of tax footnotes and related disclosure Assist in the management and execution of quarterly & annual SOX procedures.Assist with the determination of the tax accounting related to non-routine transactions, e.g., acquisitions, carve-out financial statements Assist in special projects where needed.Qualifications:4 year degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MST preferred. Big 4 and/or large corporate experience with corporate income tax accounting/complianceIn-depth understanding of FAS 109 and FIN 48.Solid written and oral communication skills. Solid teamwork ethic and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects..
