TAX MANAGER, SALT
Sallie Mae is searching for a TAX MANAGER, SALT for our Reston, VA headquarters office. This position is responsible for various state and local tax areas, including managing state and local tax audits and participating with state and local tax planning, (e.g. nexus evaluations and apportionment planning). In addition, this position is expected to be a state and local technical resource and will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating new state tax laws. This position will also communicate with non-tax personnel in various locations regarding state tax matters.
Requirements include a BS in Accounting a CPA or Equivalent as well as Experience with managing multi-state corporate income tax compliance processes, completing state tax research, and managing state tax audits.
