Systems Administration Manager

We are currently seeking a Systems Administration Manager to join us in our Montvale office. Responsibilities: - Provide performance management, professional development and project leadership for a technical team - Provide server and storage infrastructure support consistent with client service level agreements - Support multiple hardware and software platforms - Evaluate, configure and recommend client/server hardware components and peripherals - Provide technical guidance for installation, implementation, maintenance and disaster recovery for various Sun and HP Enterprise Servers, EMC Disk Storage, IBM LTO-3 and 4 Tape Silo's - Review and approve changes to Server and Storage infrastructure and interface with vendors to coordinate resolution of hardware/software problems - Responsible for project planning and implementation Qualifications: - Seven years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience within a large IT organization supporting and servicing Open System environments - Five years of people and project management experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area from an accredited college/university - Solid knowledge of operating systems, databases, and web technologies - Familiar with the following software products: VMWare, Sun Solaris, Linux, Windows 2000 & 2003, Citrix Presentation Server, Microsoft (MS) Terminal Server, IIS, HP/Compaq Insight Mgr., Veritas NetBackup, Veritas Volume Mgr., Oracle, MS SQL Server, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, PeopleSoft, Patchlink, ODBC, FTP, TCP/IP, Shell Scripts, HTML, Java - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Availability for pager support during weekdays and weekends at any time KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
