Employment Opportunity with One of the Largest Public Accounting Firms in RIResponsibilities Include Installing, configuring, and maintaining a Windows multi-server environment including over 70 Windows laptops and desktops as well as a VPN and firewall. Maintaining LAN / WAN Network infrastructure including minor hardware maintenance and repair. Managing, maintaining, and enforcing security policies and procedures. Providing technical support to all employees; working closely with end users to resolve technical requests, problems and concerns. Managing, maintaining, and testing daily backups. Working closely with technology committee to ensure that firm remains proactive with regard to technology.Qualifications / Requirements Experience on Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange, as well as Microsoft SQL 2000, SQL 2005. Proficient use of all MS Office applications. Solid understanding of MS Windows XP and Vista and Networking. Knowledge of FTP, HTML, SMTP, POP. Knowledge and use of Adobe Acrobat Pro. Knowledge on installation and maintenance of accounting software such as ProFx tax, ProFx Engagement, QuickBooks, and BNA a plus. Must be analytical, deadline oriented, organized, a self starter, and have the ability to work without supervision.
