Supervisor / Senior General Ledger Accountant

Privately held company located in Tyson’s Corner Company seeks a talented Supervisor / Senior General Ledger Accountant to join their team.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 General accounting functions including month-end accruals, account reconciliations and reportingSupport the day-to-day accounting operations and maintenance of accounting recordsProvide variance and flux analysis for general ledger and balance accounts as neededAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements Prepare ad hoc reporting for management as requiredSupport financial planning and analysis on the creation of monthly and quarterly Actual vs. Budget and Actual vs. Forecast reporting

 

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related field, or equivalent training and experience 5 years progressive general ledger experience Self-disciplined with a strong work ethic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Strong initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
