Our client a boutique Financial Services firm, catering to both private and institutional investors, has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst with exceptional Financial modeling skills to join their team.  This is a great opportunity for a skilled analyst who wants to apply their knowledge in a more creative setting.

 

 

Responsibilities will include:Develop spreadsheets and presentations to communicate results to management Develop various business and financial analyses as needed Build business and financial models to calculate and support analyses Coordinate the completion of various industry surveys and analyze survey results Develop new business and financial analyses to provide management with better business understandingAnalyze industry and competitors Ad hoc reporting and analyses. 

 

Desired Qualifications:Fundamental understanding of the investment management business In depth understanding of finance and accounting theory and practice Advanced analytical and problem solving skills Working knowledge of industry peer and competitor databases Advanced computer skills in Excel and Access Ability to take large amounts of data, summarize, and tell a storyAbility to synthesize information and grasp concepts quickly Excellent written, verbal and professional communicationThis position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as a talent for creative thinking.
