Perform analysis and financial modeling of a range of opportunities including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, mergers, acquisitions,  strategic assessments and other special projects.  Support the due diligence process including the oversight of the finance due diligence team. Support the design, maintenance and periodic updates of the portfolio and peer databases. Support analyses and review data with the Board of Directors. Provide other ad-hoc financial analyses as directed by the Director, Financial Strategy and Valuation, and Vice-President, Financial Planning. Support business management process excellence activities. Position requires extensive co-ordination with external and internal customers and suppliers such as investment bankers, consultants, corporate and sector strategic and financial planners, and other business management functions. This is the perfect role for those with a great accounting foundation who want to pursue an analysis based role for an international firm. Key Qualifications: Excellent understanding of financial statements, very solid accounting foundation (knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting of P/L, B/S, etc, and experience doing consolidations, projections, forecasts with multiple business units).  CPA highly preferred along with audit/public accounting background from Big 4 (or top tier firm).
