Description



Staff Tax Accountant

Prepare tax returns for a variety of business entities as well as individual tax returns, and assist clients with related accounting issues as required
Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
Assist in research projects and related planning as requested

Requirements



Successful candidate will possess a strong desire to grow his/her career in Public Accounting as well as the following:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master’s degree a plus
CPA or CPA candidate qualified to sit for the exam
Knowledge of accounting theory
Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to analyze numbers and draw logical conclusions
Ability to plan & organize work schedules
Ability to establish workload priorities and perform assigned tasks in a timely manner
Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate and disclose data in an accurate manner
Ability to utilize Microsoft office and other computer applications effectively
