Staff Accountant II - Join our winning team!

Position Description:
Excellent opportunity to join our division accounting team. Will maintain up-to-date financial records and accurate financial period reporting to management and corporate office. Responsibilities include: Ensuring the integrity of financial data by reviewing BS and P&L, and addressing issues in a timely manner Reviewing inventory transitions, account reconciliations, fixed assets, general ledger and preparing journal entries Reviewing department expenses and investigating/explaining reasons for significant variances from the budget Collaborating with Controller in developing procedures and polices Assisting in the monthly financial close of books Position Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred 3-4 years GL accounting experience, including inventory Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis, GAAP Strong analytical ability and proven ability to lead project teams through to completion Proficiency with computer software programs (Microsoft) Company Overview:
