Staff Accountant - Diocese of Paterson
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson is seeking a Staff Accountant responsible for general accounting within the Finance department. Responsibilities include monthly and quarterly financial reporting, account analysis and journal entries.

Specific responsibilities:
·         Monitor and prepare analysis of endowments
·         Analyze reserves related to self-insurance programs
·         Oversee year end tax report for employees and vendors
·         Assist in the preparation of budgets
·         Analyze results of subsidiary agencies
·         Monitor the cash management process
·         Support parish and churches on reporting issues
Requirements: Bachelors degree (Accounting major preferred) 3 - 5 years staff accounting experience ( Working knowledge of Elite or similar accounting system. Advanced Excel skills.. Must possess excellent communication skills. Must be organized and a self- starter Local travel up to 25% (Passaic, Morris,Sussex Counties)
