Staff Accountant - Center City Philadelphia

Most of all candidates must possess a 'CAN DO' positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.   Position Summary: To assist the Corporate Accounting Department in the completion of various accounting functions (daily, monthly, quarterly and annually). Major Duties: 1. Assist with the monthly, quarterly and year-end Corporate Division closing process including reconciliations, analysis and journal entries. 2. Review and analysis of Corporate cash accounts. 3. Preparation of Inter-company billing.4. Reconcile and maintain all inter-company account balances. 6. Reconcile and maintain fixed assets. 7. Review and analysis of various balance sheet accounts.8. Reconcile Corporate cash accounts. 9. Other duties and projects as assigned. Education/Experience:• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting; CPA a plus. • 1-2 years accounting experience, public accounting experience a plus. • Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications. • Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM) and Oracle Financials, a plus. • Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
