As the Staff Accountant, primary responsibilities will include preparing, analyzing and producing monthly financial statements. This position will also contribute to the monthly closing process in a timely, accurate manner.Required Skills



Reconcile various G/L accounts in preparation for monthly close cycle. Analyze line item trends pertaining to costs and revenues. Prepare monthly journal entries. Actively assist in year-end audit activities. Document departmental procedures and/or key processes, suggest improvements as needed. Other departmental accounting/finance duties as assigned.Required Experience



Minimum Requirements:College Graduate with four (4) year degree in Accounting 4 plus years experience as an accountant. Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to apply financial and accounting principles, theories and concepts Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook required Typing skills and 10-key ability Communication skills Time management and organizational skills Telephone skills Effective oral and written communication abilities Leadership potential required

Preferred Requirements:Health care experience preferred Experience with Solomon Accounting Software preferred
