Personal Property Tax Compliance
Our Indianapolis, Indiana office is seeking an experienced person to assist in the management of our personal property tax compliance group. We work primarily with large to medium size organizations within the US in those states with personal property tax filing obligations. Typical industries include leasing, pharmaceutical, automotive and manufacturing. This person will oversee personal property tax compliance as relates to resource requirements, directing and monitoring engagements and reviewing tax renditions and client assessment valuations.
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in accounting or finance preferred
· 7+ years of tax experience with broad exposure to personal property tax required
· Highly proficient computer skills including knowledge of PTMS or other similar property tax software
· Ability to manage, organize and supervise a large staff ensuring quality product within a timely deadline
· Strong communication both verbal and written.
· Some overnight travel will be required
