Sr. Tax Analyst
Senior Tax Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation federal and state corporate income tax estimates, extensions and returns for a diverse group of corporations conducting multi-national operations.
• Review computations, work papers, and federal and state corporate income tax returns.
• Develop an understanding of the business operations of a major reporting segment and a working relationship with financial and accounting management within that segment..
• Work with various tax, business and accounting personnel throughout the company to obtain and analyze data needed for tax compliance.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of federal and state income tax laws, regulations, and current developments.
• Develop an understanding of the structure, functionality and reporting capabilities of the corporate general ledger system and key tax software applications.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• CPA preferred
• Minimum two years of corporate federal and multi-state tax experience. Broad knowledge of federal and state income tax laws and regulations is required
