Sr. Tax Accountant

Job Description:

The Tax Accountant II is responsible for the preparation of quarterly state income tax provisions and assisting in the preparation of federal income tax provisions. The accountant is also responsible for the preparation of state income tax returns. This involves analyzing and reconciling accounting data, and preparing workpapers supporting these returns. In addition, the accountant assists in the preparation of federal income tax returns and state estimated income tax payments. The accountant assists in gathering information for state and federal income tax audits and responding to correspondence from state authorities. Also, the accountant completes other projects as directed by tax management and must meet deadlines.

Job Requirements:

Requires BS in Accounting and 2-5 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience. Masters and CPA are desired.
