Sr. SEC Reporting Accountant

Job Duties

Prepare all SEC reporting in connection with periodic and other filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-4, etc.) in accordance with SEC rules and regulations. Prepare all consolidated financial statements and related footnotes. Ensure that the consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Research new accounting pronouncements (FASBs, SOPs, EITFs) in order to assess the impact on the consolidated financial statements. Prepare third party financial correspondence including press releases, presentations, and offering memorandums. Facilitate Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance by maintaining SEC disclosure controls and procedures and assist in the annual 10-K-process review. Maintain communication with external auditors to facilitate financial statement quarterly reviews and annual audits.  Supervise staff in completion of applicable duties described above. Perform other related duties as requested. Promote superior customer service.

 

 

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting. Minimum of three years accounting experience working in public or private accounting. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Thorough understanding of SEC rules and regulations and GAAP.
