The Sr. PP&C Analyst will have the following responsibilities: Prepares, analyzes, and interprets various accounting and financial statements/ reports of a complex nature.Plans, develops, and implements programs to control, monitor, and report on the business and to improve policies, procedures, processes, controls and systems.Provides financial analysis and written reports and presentations for internal or external customers.
Additional information about the position includes: Problems may be non-routine and multifaceted, and occasionally involve complex technical issues.Typically encounters several problems at a time. Decisions relate to issues of a moderate to complex nature and may have far reaching impact.This position often provides work leadership and direction to junior level employees in the same function or discipline.Participates as a team member on an ongoing basis and frequently has a team leadership role.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and 7 years related experience. In lieu of formal education, 15 years of related experience. Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge.Fundamental to moderate business knowledge.Comprehensive organizational, analytical, and written and oral communications skills. Areas of specialization may include budget, financial systems, cost, and/or audit. Proficiency with current computerized business applications (spreadsheet, presentation and communication software).Basic program management knowledge (budgets, earned value, estimate to complete, project schedules, etc.).Knowledge of how to apply resources and estimate programs, levels resources, and document basis of estimate and task descriptions. Knowledge of how to reconcile actuals costs and control/track changes.Experience in government contracting, knowledge of FAR/DFAR and CAS.Cost Point experience a plus.US Citizenship Required
