Senior Manager, Internal Audit.

This position is primarily responsible for Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 compliance and the communication of the results to senior management. Individual will be able to use their independence and judgment in order to recognize and resolve problems both on their own and within a group setting while providing essential support for management policy. In this role, you will be reporting to the Director of Finance, Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities:
oPrepare project plan & execute scoping activities;
oCreate & update Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 and 302 documentation including process narratives, control matrices, key control summaries, control gaps, and remediation steps;
oCommunicate with business owners across the organization to assist with the preparation and updating of flow charts and process documentation;
oPrepare and perform tests of controls, identify and remediate any deficiencies/weaknesses;
oClearly communicate audit results to management both via written communication and formal presentation;
oMaintain consultant and auditor relationships as they relate to SOX 404;
oIdentify new risks and provide assistance in developing controls to mitigate risks in current or future business processes; and
oBegin to develop the internal audit and compliance function.
oRecommend control and operating improvements on an ongoing basis;
oProvide input on the internal controls and testing required for any new business systems, as well as evaluate the financial and systems controls of acquisitions;
oConduct reviews and special projects to ensure that financial, operational and compliance controls are adequate and operating effectively;
oCo-ordinate with external auditors the internal audit department's participation in the year-end audit process; Required ExperienceRequirements:
- Minimum three years of internal/external audit and/or hands-on SOX experience;
- Audit experience in public accounting is preferred;
- Strong project management skills;
- Interpersonal skills at all organizational levels and ability to influence others;
- Leadership, teamwork, people management and presentation skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; and
- Proficiency in MS Office required. Required EducationRequired Education:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Certifications:
