Sr Internal Auditor

Accretive Solutions is a national professional services firm that provides executive search services in the areas of accounting and finance, internal audit, tax and technology.

JOB SUMMARY

Audit Manager is responsible for the following:



Assist in the planning, development and documentation of internal audit procedures



Perform, review and document internal audits focused on financial, operational and compliance matters



Work with third party provider of internal audit services (as appropriate)



Supervise resources to develop skills/capabilities and ensure efficient execution of audit procedures



Validate/confirm internal audit observations/issues with business unit personnel



Formulate/propose actions needed to address internal control and operational efficiency concerns



Research internal control matters and audit techniques to improve internal audit deliverables



Prepare/review written reports and/or presentations of observations/issues and recommendations



Maintain positive working relationships through effective and proactive communication



Contribute to the development of the annual risk-based audit plan

QUALIFICATIONS



Education: BS/BA/BBA in Accounting





Work Experience:





6+ years of professional experience in accounting/audit, with progressively increasing responsibilities



Experience in financial services industry, with prior mortgage banking experience preferred





Licensing and/or Certifications:





Graduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA) preferred
