Sr. Cost Accountant

 

Base Salary to 80K DOE

East Bay - Concord/Pittsburg Area

 

Established, Publicly traded, Technology-driven, East Bay manufacturer is seeking a solid Sr. Cost Accountant.  Working with the Accounting Manager and other key members of the manufacturing group your responsibilities will include -

Responsibilities -  Prepare, model and analyze financial and operational situations in order to make appropriate recommendations to upper managementAssists with month end closeReview and analyze monthly manufacturing costs and variance explanations Monthly account reconciliation and journal entries Prepare cost analysis, spending, manufacturing variances, etc. Establishes cost standards manufacturing locationsMaintains Fixed Capital and asset records for reconciliation and controls SOX knowledge requiredSAP experience extremely desirable

Requirements -

 BA/BS in Accounting/Finance Minimum of 2-3 years of related experienceGreat computer and spreadsheet skills using ExcelSolid communication skills both written and verbalSOX knowledge requiredSAP experience extremely desirable
