This role will afford you the opportunity to senior level management exposure while allowing you to help maintain / build the direction of the groups department, critical to this position will be a candidate’s ability to provide recommendation / direction regarding process improvements across many different departmental lines as it relates to the tax function.  Key Responsibilities:   Conduct tax compliance activities and support / provide tax-planning projects and strategy Provide guidance with FAS 109 & FIN 48 analysis A significant portion of the candidates time will be allotted to planning & tax savings strategies, candidates should therefore have 3+ years of direct experience within this capacity Provide guidance with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as it relates to tax matters Provide tax audit leadership for international, federal, state and local audits Review federal and state quarterly estimates and extensions Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of international, federal and state income tax laws, legislation and current developments Conduct complex tax compliances activities and support tax-planning projects Required Qualifications:   At least 3-5 years of public accounting or large corporate tax experience Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related discipline CPA / JD / MS in Taxation preferred Experience with tax compliance software and G/L packages (SAP, PeopleSoft...)
