Sr Associate Government Contracts

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate, Government Contracts to join us in our Washington D.C. office. Responsibilities: * Perform pre-award and post-award contract and subcontract administration, including serving as a business advisory to the engagement teams, supporting the full life cycle of the contracts process from winning new business, initiating and negotiating new and administering existing agreements through close-out * Maintain document tracking log status updates for reporting purposes * Perform risk assessment reviews of solicitations and resulting contracts/subcontracts * Provide feedback to the engagement teams in a timely manner, as needed for proposal submission purposes * Assist in planning and scheduling contract and regulatory compliance activities, including internal and external audits * Provide prompt recommendations to resolution of contractual issues, including regulatory compliance issues * Research and analyze historical data, contractual issues and coordinate leading practices with partners and engagement teams * Help ensure compliance with government regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures and disclosure statements with regard to agreement preparation, review, submission, negotiation, management and close-out Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university * Four years of experience administering and managing contracts and subcontracts in a federal contracting environment * Experience in complex contractual issue resolution, risk assessment and planning development and recommendation * Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills and interface with clients and senior management * Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a time sensitive environment * Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word * Experience with current regulatory environment relative to the development, negotiation and management of contractual agreements with government clientele KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
