Sr. Analyst, Pharmacy
The primary purpose of this position is to support the sales, gross profit and operational reporting requirements of the pharmacy department. Focus is on supporting the sales and product cost financial streams with emphasis on managed care, pharmacy purchasing and pharmacy operations subject matter expertise. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. The associate is responsible for the functions below in addition to other duties as assigned: • Design and prepare data extracts, analysis, forecasts, reports, and presentations. • Participate in project management efforts to develop business automation solutions. • Design and implement data analysis automation solutions. • Design and execute ad hoc analysis and reporting solutions. • Identify business issues and recommend solutions. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, plus two to three (2 - 3) years' experience in business analysis and decision support activities; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrable proficiency with query and reporting tools and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is a prerequisite. Financial, managed care, purchasing, or operational experience in pharmacy is helpful. Presentation experience is desired.
