Sr. Accountant w/ Hedge Fund Tax Exp. - Relo Assist. to FL

Be a part of this successful Fund Services team specializing in alternative investment services industry. This team has leveraged it's relationship with it's sister divisions resulting in RAPID growth. This practice group provides fund administration services to domestic and offshore fund clients which include fund accounting, investor and middle and back office services.  We currently seek a senior level Hedge Fund Tax Accountant to join their growing practice area in either Boston or Miami.  Qualified candidates will have a strong background in research and compliance, as well as expertise in the financial services industry.  With direct contact and limited supervision, responsibilities will involve consulting and advising clients, and reviewing and preparing private equity and hedge fund tax returns, tax allocations, broker dealers and investment advisors.


Requires:

*At least 3 years accounting/tax experience in a Public Accounting environment.

*Tax/Audit experience in the financial services industry.

*Experience in tax research and tax compliance, as well as solid understanding of Financial Statements. 

*Ability to run engagements and supervise staff members on financial services engagements.

*At least a Bachelor Degree required, Master’s and CPA designation preferred, but not mandatory.

*Previous BIG 4 experience a PLUS.
