Personal Traits and Job Tasks

Ø · Individual must be a self-starter.

Ø · Individual will become part of the team handling all high level accounting, budgeting, contracting and forecasting for Jackson Healthcare. 

Ø · Will work with many companies falling under the Corporate umbrella.

Ø · Will manage and perform all accounting and finance functions.  These will include activities such as posting to general ledgers, preparing invoices, handling cash transactions, reconciling general ledger and bank accounts, preparing budgets and forecasts, month-end closing procedures, contract maintenance, client relations, sales support, financial modeling.

Ø · Individual will be exposed to the maintenance and development of financial and operational statistical analysis.

Ø · Individual will have ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.  Must be able to switch gears effectively.

Ø · Due to limited staff, individual will be open to performing the very complicated and very mundane tasks, individual must have a “whatever it takes� attitude.

Ø · Individual must have the desire to grow in position.  I am willing to groom this person to become a Corporate Controller, they have to want my job bad and be willing to work hard to get it.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

· · Forecasting and Budgeting expertise

· · Mentoring other staff members regarding financial principles

· · Recording and maintaining general ledger – high level expertise

· · Maintenance of the cash management system

· · Account reconciliation – high level expertise.

· · Finely tuned research skills.

· · Month-end close

· · Financial reporting

 

Position Requirements:

ü  · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. CPA or CPA candidate required (must have passed all parts of test).

ü  · Strong budgeting and forecasting experience,

ü  · The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization and will have excellent communication skills.

ü  · Ability to focus and complete projects on short notice with speed and accuracy.

ü  · Ability to routinely self-review their work for reasonableness and completeness before presenting it to management – a reputation for high quality results will be the norm.

ü  · Expert in EXCEL, Experience with  GREAT PLAINS Dynamics & FRX,
